OPP Search for Suspicious Man in Rockwood

(VILLAGE OF ROCKWOOD, ON)- On Sunday, January 27, 2013 at approximately 3:50 pm the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information that a group of 11 year old boys were approached by an older male while playing in Valentino Park located off Fountain Street in the Village of Rockwood.

The male asked if he could take their picture to send to his grandchildren in Africa or if the boys would come into his car. The boys left the park immediately without speaking to the male and advised their parents of the incident and the police were contacted.

The male is described as:

>> Approximately 60 to 70 years old
>> White male
>> Wrinkled face with facial stubble
>> Large hooked nose that bent downwards
>> Grey hair
>> Wearing light blue jeans, a red toque with a pompom, bluish-green coat with stripes on sleeves and a hood

The vehicle is described as:

>> Baby blue in colour with tinted windows
>> Possibly a station wagon or small SUV with a spare tire on the back
>> 4 - doors

The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is requesting the public's assistance in identifying this male and would like to speak with him.
