RIDE CHECK RESULTS IN DRIVER CHARGED

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERMAOSA, ON) - On May 20, 2017 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) Check on Highway 6 near Wellington Road 7, Township of Guelph/Eramosa. At approximately 11:00 p.m. the driver of a 2005 Ford Taurus entered the R.I.D.E. check.

While speaking with the male driver the officer formed the opinion that he was under the influence of alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

55-year-old Frank BREESE of Guelph has been charged with Driving with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on June 13, 2017. A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.

MISSING PERSON LOCATED DECEASED

(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) - On May 28, 2017, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a missing person from Gore Road.

After an extensive search by the OPP, 32-year-old Ryan NEMETT was located deceased at the rear of the property in a wooded area.

Foul play is not suspected at this time however the investigation into his death is ongoing by members of the Wellington County Crime Unit.

STOLEN TRUCK

(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) - On May 18, 2017 at approximately 11:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen truck from a yard on Winer Road in the Township of Puslinch.

The truck is a dark grey 2004 GMC Sierra with Ontario Licence plate AM12113. It was stolen sometime between May 16 and May 18 2017.

Any person with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.

STOLEN VEHICLES, MISCHIEFS AND B&E'S

(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) - On May 25, 2017 at approximately 6:30 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began to receive multiple reports of Theft of Vehicles, Break and Enters and Mischiefs in the Township of Puslinch which had occurred overnight.

The investigation is in its early stages however the following information has been gathered;

Ellis Road, Puslinch - multiple vehicles were entered overnight. A 2016 Dodge Ram that was stolen out of Breslau was located in the ditch with items from one of the vehicles that had been entered.

Side Road 20 South, Puslinch - B&E to garage and theft of vehicle. The garage was entered through an open man door the house was opened through the garage. A 2014 Black GMC SIERRA was stolen from the driveway. The truck was located approximately 2 kms away on Concession 1, Puslinch.

Concession 2 Puslinch - Break and Enter overnight and a vehicle theft. The home was entered and property was stolen including a MacBook, chainsaw, wallet, toolbox, tools and spray guns. One ATV was stolen. A 2011 Brown Land Rover with Ontario Licence Plate BJHE 751 was stolen. This vehicle has NOT been recovered.

Paisley Road - Vehicles were entered overnight; a GPS and other items were stolen from the vehicles.
